Late Breaking Abstract Submission

The 2010 Scientific and Social Program Committee are pleased to announce the opening for submission of Late Breaking Abstracts on original work for the Dietitians Association of Australia 28th National Conference.

Presenting authors must be registrants at the Conference. All abstracts have to be submitted online via the Conference website using the online submission form.

Previously submitted abstracts should not be resubmitted, unless research/findings have been developed since previous submission. Details regarding the date of data analysis are also to be included to ensure abstracts are indeed genuine late breaking abstracts. You must be able to demonstrate that the abstract could not have been submitted by the original due date of 6 November 2009.

High impact abstracts can be submitted for consideration for an oral or poster presentation. The most highly ranked abstracts could be offered an oral presentation and the others a poster presentation, but giving you the option to present a poster if requested. Please submit no more than 250 words on your chosen topic and follow carefully the Submission Guidelines below.

Submission Guidelines

  1. All late breaking abstracts are to be submitted in Microsoft Word format using the abstract template - Dietitians 2010 Abstract Template.doc
  1. Abstracts must not exceed the 250 word limit. Abstracts exceeding the limit will be returned for re-submission.
  1. Previously submitted abstracts should not be resubmitted, unless research/findings have been developed since previous submission.
  1. You must provide details regarding the date of data analysis.
  1. You must complete all sections of the form before uploading your abstract.
