The Accommodation Managers, arinex have secured both flexible rates and an early bird special rates that requires full prepayment at time of booking for delegates and exhibitors of the 9th Industrial and Organisational Psychology Conference.
Flexible room rates offer flexibility with competitive terms and conditions - only 1 night’s cancellation fee and no charges for changing your booking or for reducing your stay
Early bird special rates are limited and offer a lower nightly rate - Full prepayment at time of booking is required. Once your booking is confirmed at the Early Bird Special rate the booking cannot be refunded or amended in any way.
All hotels are within easy walking distance to the venue, Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre:
Hotel
Single (SGL): A single occupancy room with one bed
Double (DBL): A double occupancy room with one bed
Twin (TWN): A double occupancy room with two beds
Apartment
1 Bedroom Apartment: A 1 bedroom apartment with 1 king bed with full kitchen facilities.
2 Bedroom Apartment: A 2 bedroom apartment with either 1 king and 2 single beds OR 2 king beds and 2 bathrooms with full kitchen facilities

How To Book Accommodation
To book complete the Online Accommodation Booking Form. The Accommodation Managers will forward your contact details, reservation and credit card details to the hotel of your choice.
Room Bookings
Rooms are being held by the Accommodation Managers on behalf of the attendees until 11 May 2011. A credit card guarantee equivalent to one night's accommodation rate must be provided at time of booking.
Please Note: The full amount of your hotel account for all nights booked/stayed will be payable directly to the hotel at time of checkout.
Early Bird Special rates are subject to availability and full prepayment at time of booking is required. Once your booking is confirmed a booking cannot be refunded or altered in any way.
Late bookings can be made through the Housing Bureau after 11 May 2011 but are subject to availability and credit card details are required to secure the reservation. One night’s room rate will be deducted from the supplied card, by the hotel, if the reservation is cancelled or the delegate fails to arrive on the specified date.
Change of Booking
Flexible rates: Any change to a reservation must be notified to the Accommodation Managers and not directly to the hotel. Please note that any changes should be made to the Accommodation Managers by 06 June 2011.
Early Bird Special rates: Once your booking is confirmed a booking cannot be refunded or altered in any way.
Late Arrivals
Please indicate on your registration form or notify the Accommodation Managers in writing if you will arrive at your hotel after 18.00 hours, failure to do so may mean that your room will be released.
Check-in and Check-out times
Check-in time is generally 14.00 hours and Check-out time is 10.00 hours. Should you wish to guarantee check-in before 14.00 hours you will need to pre-book, and pay for the previous night. If you wish to guarantee a late checkout you will need to book for the next night. These additional nights can be booked at the time of making your reservation. If required please indicate on your registration form.
Hotel Check in Procedures
As per standard hotel policies and procedures attendees will be required to provide a credit card or full cash payment upon check in. This is to cover any incidental charges incurred during your stay and all remaining unpaid room nights.
The hotel will hold on your credit card, until point of check out, all unpaid accommodation nights reserved plus a daily amount for incidental charges. If you will be settling your accommodation account by cash you will be asked to pre pay for your accommodation in full plus a cash deposit for incidentals. Should you not utilize any incidentals during your stay the cash deposit, for incidentals only, will be refunded to you by the hotel upon check out. Please note the daily incidental charge may vary across the listed hotels.
Group Bookings
If your organisation would like to make a Group Booking or place group accommodation at hotels not listed on this website, the Accommodation Managers can secure rooms and negotiate group rates on your behalf with the hotel of your choice. Accommodation Cancellation Policy
Flexible rates: As at 11 May 2011 all reservations will incur a cancellation fee equal to 1 night’s accommodation rate if you do not arrive on the date for which you have booked or you cancel your accommodation. Cancellations must be made in writing to the Accommodation Managers.
Early Bird Special rates: Once your booking is confirmed the booking cannot be refunded. A cancellation fee equal to all nights booked will apply for any Early Bird Special booking that is cancelled or does not arrive on the date for which you have booked.
